Nikhil Choudhuri
Executive Director of Records

Nikhil Choudhuri is the Executive Director of Records for the UPUAHe is a junior from Berkeley Heights, NJ, majoring in Economics and minoring in French, Information Systems Management, and Business Fundamentals. Nikhil works on project planning and development, timeline management, accountability, and liaising with relevant entities to ensure the Department has the resources to achieve its goals. Nikhil also serves as the Points Chair for the Penn State Equestrian Team, is a Hospitality committee member for THON, and a Liberal Arts Ambassador.

Kayley McDonald
Director of Organizational History

Kayley McDonald is the Director of Organizational History within the UPUA’s Department of Records. She is a junior from Pittsburgh, PA, majoring in History and minoring in Business in the Liberal Arts. As Director, Kayley leads all the History projects of the Department, maintains project management timelines, and assists the Executive Director in achieving department goals. She works with the Organizational Historians to create individual and comprehensive histories of student government assemblies at Penn State, and aims to make the records and their summaries as accessible as possible to the student body. 

 

Jean-Paul Scarbrough
Organizational Historian

 

Jean-Paul Scarbrough is an Organizational Historian within the UPUA’s Department of Records. He is a junior from Mount Airy, MD, majoring in International Politics – National Security, History, and minoring in German. Jean-Paul works to collect, create, and maintain factual accuracy in the individual and comprehensive histories of current and past student government assemblies. Additionally, he works with the Director of Organizational History to publish and make these records and histories accessible to students. Jean-Paul is also an active member of the Penn State Crew Team. 

Riley J. Baumgarten
Organizational Historian

 

Riley J. Baumgarten is an Organizational Historian within the UPUA’s Department of Records. He is a Junior majoring in History and minoring in Business from Temecula, CA. Riley works to create, maintain, and synthesize the history of UPUA through factual and unbiased collection of various documentsRiley wants to ensure that students have equal access to this information and is presented in a comprehensive fashion to the unknowledgeable reader. Riley also serves as the fundraising director for Penn State’s Moot Court Association.  

Kathryn McNamara
Organizational Historian

 

Kathryn McNamara is an Organizational Historian within the UPUA’s Department of Records. She is a Freshman majoring in Undecided Engineering from Harrisburg, PA.

Office of Digitization

Corey White 
Director of Digitization

Corey White is Director of Digitization within the UPUA’s Department of Records. He is a sophomore from Marriottsville, MD, majoring in History, Classical and Mediterranean Studies, and Political Science, and minoring in Latin. Corey leads the digitization efforts of all the UPUA’s documents, keeps a steady timetable with Digitization Specialists, and assists the Executive Director in applying long-term project goals. He works with Digitization specialists to ensure comprehensive and professional tracking and digitization of the UPUA’s recorded history.  

Liv Lindberg 
Digitization Specialist

Liv Lindberg is a Digitization Specialist in the UPUA’s Department of Records. She is a freshman majoring in statistics and minoring in art from Worcester, MALiv works as part of the Digitization team to manage and maintain the digital records of the UPUA. Her and the rest of the team are responsible for organizing and sorting through the UPUA’s documents. She is also a Millennium Scholar, which aids underrepresented students in STEM majors in obtaining their PhD.  

 

Henry Huang 
Digitization Specialist

Henry Huang is a Digitization Specialist within the UPUA’s Department of RecordsHe is a sophomore majoring in psychology and minoring in Kinesiology from Dallas, TXHenry organizes documents from the UPUA and makes them easily accessible.  

 

Office of Technology

Joseph Lock 
Director of Technology

Joseph Lock is the Director of Technology within the UPUA’s Department of RecordsHe is a freshman majoring in Cyber Security and minoring in Military Studies from Quakertown, PAJoe is responsible for developing and managing technology tools that enable onboarding to the UPUA’s collaboration platforms, assisting the Office of Digitization in maintaining the archive and accessand furthering the UPUA from a technological standpoint. Additionally, Joe is a 4/C Midshipman with the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps, Penn State.
