UPUA, OCSU Looking for Testimonials about State College Landlords
The University Park Undergraduate Association (UPUA) and Off-Campus Student Union (OCSU) are looking for testimonials about State College landlords in an attempt to work directly with them to resolve the most common issues that students face when renting an apartment or house.
For example, this could include any experiences involving a late rent notice. You can learn more about rental property issues by heading to the AAOA website.
Approximately 30,000 students live in downtown State College, and various students have an anecdotal story about their landlord or living situation, whether it pertains to lack of communication, issues securing a lease, or other some other problem.
In an attempt to compile quantifiable data about these issues, the UPUA and OCSU are seeking anonymous testimonials of experiences students have had through a survey located HERE.
If you have an experience you would like to let the UPUA know about, please take a moment to fill out the survey. Additionally, if you have any recommendations for improving the rental process as a whole, we would love to consider them. The data will be compiled, analyzed, and presented to various rental companies and landlords in and around State College during the semester in an attempt to improve the common issues students face when finding a place to live.
