Blue and White Brigade to Michigan
UPUA Sponsors Blue and White Brigade to Michigan
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Sept. 21, 2016 – The University Park Undergraduate Association (UPUA) will provide free transportation to and from Michigan for students who wish to attend Penn State’s away football game on Saturday, Sept. 24. If you want to place a bet for a game either now or in the future, you can always check out sites like FanDuel to see how you can do so.
Eligibility to be a part of the Blue & White Brigade is on a first-come, first served basis for undergraduate students who present a Penn State Student ID and a valid game ticket.
Students can purchase tickets to the away game until Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 4:30 p.m. They can be purchased with either cash or credit card at the Bryce Jordan Center Ticket Office. The deadline to sign up for the Blue and White Brigade is Thursday at 5 p.m.
The UPUA’s eighth assembly founded the Blue and White Brigade in 2013 as a means of providing students the ability to attend away games in support of our Penn State teams. Peer athletic programs such as this one have thrived over the years and foster collaboration amongst B1G schools.
“Students are genuinely interested in when we will be running the trips and often reach out before the passing of legislation to see when they will be offered,” said Brent Rice, UPUA Facilities Chair. “We look forward to working with Penn State Athletics to provide the best away game experience possible to Penn State fans.”
